President Falk and colleagues call on White House to "rectify or rescind" immigration order

On Thursday, February 2, President Falk and 47 fellow college and university leaders signed a letter calling on President Trump to “rectify or rescind” his recent executive order on immigration. The letter points out that the order “threatens both American higher education and the defining principles of our country.”

President Falk’s signing of this letter follows his own response to Trump’s order. Addressed to the Williams community shortly after the order was issued, Falk’s response outlined the college’s actions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Williams students, faculty, and staff, and called on Ephs to show the world that America is capable of “something greater and nobler than fear.”
