To the Williams community,
Today, Tuesday, May 6, is Staff Appreciation Day 2025.
Every spring the college honors staff who reach major milestones in their Williams careers. Today we celebrate 131 colleagues for such anniversaries, along with 25 others who are retiring. I am especially grateful for their dedication during a challenging time for higher education. Their expertise and effort, along with that of fellow staff and faculty, sets a Williams education apart.
I look forward to congratulating this year’s honorees at a special gathering later today. Please take a moment, whenever you can, to offer your own thanks to our colleagues who are celebrating a work anniversary, as well as those who have retired or are about to do so.
We also look forward to recognizing this year’s retirees at their own event later this month. I invite you to offer your stories, memories and good wishes for them as part of our tribute.
To all of this year’s honorees: thank you for your devotion. And congratulations on your latest Williams milestone!
